WWII Veteran Served with the RCAF as a Tail Gunner in the Lancaster Bomber. Retired Staff Sergeant of the Toronto Police Force.Passed away at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, after a lengthy and hard-fought battle with kidney disease, Bob Rhodes of Bobcaygeon, formerly of Toronto in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Joan Rhodes for sixty years. Father of Bryan (Kathy) of Bobcaygeon, Lynda (Stephen) Sprague of Roswell, Georgia, and Wayne Rhodes of Bobcaygeon. Grandfather of Tim (Andrea), Emily (Curtis) Dumais, Erin (Steven) Kupfur, and Thomas Sprague. Great-grandfather of Marianne Dumais and Ben Rhodes. Brother of the late Barbara Lupton.
