To the Bentley Family, I am sending you my sincere condolences on the loss of Jack. He was a friendly neighbour and it was a pleasure to hear him sing with the Barbershoppers. Sorry to hear about the loss of your brother, Bruce. My thoughts are with you. I have many great childhood memories of Jack.As young boys we spent so much time together hiking in the gully in the St. Thomas area during the 1940s, our public school years. I don't remember him that well, but what i DO remember is that he was a great guy! Think of the good times...they will get you through. Take care, Mel

I am just writing to say how sorry I am about the death of Jack.I spent alot of time over at the Bentely's house on Forest Avenue when I was younger, used to hang out with Lisa. I haven't seen her for ages, you tend to lose contact with everyone once you leave high school.Just wanted to say again, how sorry I am and that I am thinking of you all at this very sad time. KIM

I extend my deepest sympathy on the loss of Jack. Jack and I had a lot of fun in the Barbershop singing. He was always willing to lend a hand and would always listen to your problems. We have lost a great man here on Earth but the Lord God has gained a great man.
