I am very sorry to hear the news of Mr. Rayment. I have fond memories of being a child at Chandos and listening to my dad and Mr. Rayment have their long discussions. I always thought Mr. Rayment to be a kind and gentle man. My thoughts go out to the family.

Although we haven't known George and the rest of the Rayment family all that long, we consider them to be amongst our best friends. George was a wise, trusting and kind person who we could always count on for help or advice or just for a good laugh. George was a tower of strength in our little cottage community. He always had genuine concern for the seasonal cottagers while he, himself, was a permanent resident. His presence around Woodland will surely be missed by us and he will always be in our hearts. Thanks, George, Joan and the rest of the Rayment family, for being a wonderful part of our lives.

Mr Rayment has been a real influence on my life, even until this day. His love of the woods really rubbed off on me as a teen, which led me on to a 25+ year career in the Natural Resources field. He was a quiet gentleman who instilled a strong respect from me. I remember on several occasions walking around in the bush and having George appear from behind a tree, with a coy smile....what you up to?? He always new when someone was on his property!! My condolences to the entire family... You don't really notice how much you miss just knowing someone is still there, until they're gone. Cam
