We're all still in shock, and having a hard time accepting this tragedy. I knew Johnny from way back and I'll never forget his laugh and contagious smile. My most fond memory of Johnny was when I was about 14 or 15 my mom said no boys in the house..Of course I didn't listen and I had Johnny and J.C over and my parents came home and the chase was on.. Johnny came back to the house to see if he could get his bike back, but I was grounded..God we laughed for weeks about that one..Well I'm gonna miss him and my heart goes out to the Lee family and friends..Be strong and know that he's with you. Gloria & family, Chris, Tina & family, Perry, Amy & family, Doug, and to all of the rest of the Lee and Thompson families, we send our deepest condolences to you all. We sometimes have to wonder why certain families get hit on the most, and we all know there is no answer, but anyone that knows both of your families know that you have definitely had more than your share. We have known both families most of our lives, and you are all great people, loving, caring, and very family oriented, so why do these type of people get more than their share. There is no answer, except you have to believe that the guy up there has a reason that you may never know. Just hold close to the rest of the family to support, love & pull them through this. I realize that words are so simple, but we hurt for you, especially Gloria, whom should never have to live to lose a child. I realize that there is nothing we can say or do, but please know we hurt with you and care. Judy & Charlie & families.

This past week I have remembered a lot of the good times spent with Johnny as well as his dad. I can honestly say the times were all good. Going to the camp snowmobiling, Johnny wrenching on my old drag car, and going to the drag races with me as well as many more. Some I had even forgotten about. Johnny was class. He could always make you smile and inevitably laugh hard. I will always remember his smile. We will always miss you Johnny. Mark, Sue, Jake, and Ethan Elstone.

Johnny, you are deeply missed in our hearts. Everytime I add a piece of wood to the stove I am reminded of you sitting in the Lazyboy chair in your long-johns and orange shirt, Coors Light in one hand and a Players in the other. You taught me alot during the years we worked and lived together. Ours hearts go out to Ashley and the family at this time of sadness. Love ya buddy! Jodi (Dad)

My deepest condolences and prayers go out to the Lee family, as well as Ashley and her family. I met Johnny a few times throw a network of friends, and as someone previously mentioned, he was always the life of the party, keeping everyone happy and making sure everyone was having a great time. Great sense of humor, and a good friend. He will be deeply missed by all.
