JACKMAN: Mona Lermont (nee Gibson) Peacefully with her family by her side, after having lived with cancer with such dignity, on Friday February 3, 2006 at the P.R.H.C., Palliative Care. Mona Jackman of Lakefield in her 86th year. Loved and deeply missed by her children Judy Carswell (Dave) of Lakefield, Beth Jackman Steinmiller (Ray Vandervelde) of Peterborough and Ted Jackman (Rene) of Lakefield. Proud Grandma of Adam & Meaghan Carswell, Kathryn & Stephanie Jackman and Morgan Steinmiller. Dear sister of Charmaine Shaforost (Jerry) and Ena Epp, both of B.C. Lovingly remembered by all of her dear family and friends, especially, Jean Jackman and Glenda Newson. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Ray (1983), grandson Cameron Jackman (1994), brother James Gray Gibson of North Bay and sister Polly Nichol of Selkirk, Scotland. Friends and relatives may call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield, on Tuesday February 7, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Lakefield United Church on Wednesday February 8, 2006 at 2:00 PM. Rev. Warren Vollmer officiating. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.
