DONNA BERNARD posted a condolence

Dear Nanny: I miss you so much! I miss your BIG smile our little talks, our outings, your piano playing and bringing you your morning coffee and donut. The summer of 2008 has gone by quickly and I have finally decided what to put on your grave stone. It will have a piano and a daisy. The inscription will read The Song Has Ended But The Melody Lingers On I hope you like it! It is in the process of being made and I am hoping to have it in place before the snow flies. Give Dad, Aunt Gail and Grampa my love. I really miss all of you. Love Ya Nanny! Love Donna xoxoxo

Dear Nanny: Christmas is just around the corner and today would have been the day I was to pick you up to spend the Christmas holidays at our house in Apsley. It won't be the same. I will miss your contagious smile and your warm loving, embracing hugs. I think about you every day and I know you are at peace now with your daughter Gail, husband Harry and your son Bill (my Dad). LOVE YA NANNY! We Will Meet Again. Love Donna xoxoxoxoxoxo

I don't remember meeting Daisy...seems I've always known her. Daisy was always good for a laugh and conversation. Holidays and parties at Donna's just won't be the same without her. Gone but not forgotten. Rest now Daisy. Love you.

Nanny..WOW!! I miss her so much! I am so grateful that I was able to experience so much with my nanny! I have so many wonderful memories of nanny that I will never forget in a million years! I think the thing I miss the most is her smile. It is so warming and welcoming and made you feel so good, just to see Nanny happy and smiling. She is in a better place now, with her son and daughter, and we will meet up again some day for a nice pot of tea and a cigarette!! Cant wait nanny, say hi to Poppa for me! XOXOXOX hugs and kisses .. Love you always and forever and you know that! Rest in Peace Nanny. MUAH!! ~ Love your GREAT granddaughter Jennifer!~
