Obituary of Elizabeth W. GORDON

GORDON: ELIZABETH W. 'LIZA' (nee BOLTON) Peacefully in her sleep at the P.R.H.C., Hospital Dr. site on Wednesday July 11, 2007. Liza Gordon, a longtime resident of Buckhorn in her 102nd year. Predeceased by her loving husband Thomas George Gordon in 1971, her son Jack in 1966, her parents, 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Lovingly remembered by her seven children, Mac Gordon (Mildred), Barbara Roberts (Ken), Shirley Eby, Norma Macphail (George), Arthur Gordon (Shirley), Bob Gordon (Marie) and June Collins (Ron). Also remembered by 19 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Friends and relatives may call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Friday July 13th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Buckhorn on Saturday July 14th, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Buckhorn, the Buckhorn Medical Centre or the charity of one's choice as expressions of sympathy.
