McEWEN: Robert Allan (WWII Veteran) Peacefully at the P.R.H.C., Hospital Dr. site, with his family by his side on Monday October 9th, 2006, in his 86th year, after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband of Muriel (Pomeroy) for 59 years. Beloved father of Allan (predeceased), Barbara (Peter) and Debora (Rob). Cherished grandfather of Lindsay, Melanie and Kiela. Brother of Donald and Archie. Predeceased by his parents Sidney and Ethel (Turner), sisters Ethel, Lillian, Margaret and brothers George, Malcolm and Graham. Friends and relatives may call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Thursday October 12, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Memorial Service will be held from the Hendren Chapel on Friday October 13th, 2006 at 1:00 PM. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wesley United Church, P.R.H.C.
