Obituary of Viola Louise LIDKEA

LIDKEA: Viola L. ""Vi"" Passed away peacefully at the Fairhaven Home, Peterborough, on Thursday August 10, 2006. Vi Lidkea of Oshawa, formerly of North Bay, in her 100th year. Lovingly remembered by her niece Wendy Zelsman (Howard) of Lakefield and their children Jake and Jessica; and her nephew John McDougall (Inga) of Oslo, Norway and their children Kari and Erland. Vi was a graduate of Victoria College at the University of Toronto in Household Sciences. She taught in Oshawa high schools for many years. Vi enjoyed reading, travel, the companionship of animals and the occasional martini. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Terrace Lawn Cemetery, North Bay.
